勇士靠著第4節34比12攻勢，110比99後來居上逆轉擊敗拓荒者，西區季後賽次輪取得2比0領先優勢。此外，史提芬柯瑞正在接受血小板血漿治療，可望在第3戰（台灣時間8日）復出上場。

有別於首戰一路領先輕鬆取勝，勇士此役開打就處在落後劣勢，甚至在打完第3節還落後11分，決勝節先發動15比4攻勢追平，緊接著再以10比0奠定勝局。

克雷湯普生再次扮演關鍵角色，全場攻下27分的他表示，前3節打得確實不好，但隊友們在第4節即時甦醒過來，這1節打得非常專注，攻守表現得很出色，才能將勝空地貸款 利留下來。

除了克雷湯普生外，卓雷蒙格林交出17分、14籃板、7助攻、4阻攻的全能成績單，頂替柯瑞先發的李文斯頓挹注14分，3人在第4節車貸二胎 砍進22分，逆襲戰局。

勇士教頭科爾指出，雖然先前36分鐘比賽不盡理想，但他們有足夠的實力在最後12分鐘扭轉整個局面。

此外，根據《聖荷西水星報》報導指出，勇士主將史提芬柯瑞正在接受一項針對膝蓋扭傷的血小板血漿治療方式，若順利有機會在與拓荒者的第三戰中復出。

血小板血漿治療方式是將自己血液中的血小板抽離出來，然後注射到受傷處，藉由血小板的細胞再生方式修復傷處，勇士博格特、黃蜂巴坦與火箭霍華等人都曾實行過這種治療方式。

柯瑞表示，現在已可以進行簡單的訓練，希望藉由血小板血漿治療盡快回到球場上。
